First early spring monitoring of Lake Bled

In March 2015 we have carried out the first early spring monitoring on Lake Bled. We have followed the occurrence of cyanobacteria using phycocyanin and chlorophyll fluorescence sensor. A fast review of the surface sample showed predominant occurrence of cyanobacteria Planktothrix rubescens. In a smaller number we have detected also Asterionella formosa, Tabellaria fenestrata and …
